St. Joachim Catholic School serves students from PreK-8th Grade. The school was founded in 1949 by Monsignor Nevin and staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. On April 19, 1999, St. Joachim Catholic School celebrated 50 years of educational opportunities. Thousands of students have walked the halls and now send their children and even their grandchildren to our school. Graduates usually attend Mater Dei High School, Servite High School, Rosary High School, Newport Harbor High School, Estancia High School, or Costa Mesa High School. The staff and faculty foster an environment where students are challenged to think critically. They are encouraged to take responsibility for their continuing growth and learning and to adapt to ongoing technological change. The continued goal has been to prepare students to respectfully contribute to a culturally diverse, global society and to learn, live and love their faith, now and in the future.
