I was born in Newport Rhode Island where my father was the head gardener for Doris Duke at Rough Point. My family lived on the estate, which is where I was raised. My wife and I have lived and owned homes and investment properties in Washington DC, Alexandria Virginia, Pacific Palisades California and Newport. Karen and I have had a summer home in Newport for over twenty years.
