The Goat Cottage is a transformed dance studio filled with light, color, art, and space in a woodland garden with a gazebo.
The Goat Cottage welcomes guests year-round. The cottage is a transformed, spacious dance studio space that is roomy with high ceilings, a king, twin daybed (screens for privacy) a loft with a twin, 2 tables, 2 couches, a mirrored wall and room for dance or yoga. The fully equipped kitchen has a list of favorite places to visit. The separate Nest Room has a queen bed. You can see the goats from every window. Guests can eat with our 6 goats morning & evening at the picnic table and fresh eggs are available to you from our 20 chickens. The Cottage is surrounded by the goat trail but the goats don't bother anyone. Goats are quiet, friendly and curious to meet everyone who walks over to say hello. Guests can schedule to see the musical goat show trail when all 6 goats run, jump and climb 10 stages leading to a stunning Sakonnet river view. Both The Goat Cottage and The Captain's Quarters share the goat trail, a propane grille, campfire near the goats & sunset, in-ground pool (warm in the summer only), hammock and amazing sunset campfire views of the Sakonnet River.
