This family-run cafe migrated to the United States to pursue the American Dream, bringing twenty years of authentic Asian culinary experience. Bobacup was created to make fresh delicious food and fun dessert beverages. Nam, our creative director, graduated from the University of South Florida. He went on to open his first boba tea cafe in Gainesville, Florida in 2006 under the Lollicup brand. After eight years of hard work, success granted his wish to come home and bring his Alma mater and the greater Tampa Bay community, a quick and convenient boba experience, while keeping affordability in mind for the local college students and surrounding communities.
