Thomas Ronald, MD

Ronald Thomas, M.D., a nationally recognized obstetrician-gynecologist who has subspecialty training in maternal-fetal medicine, specializes in treating women with pregnancy complications. Working with Dr. Thomas at Wheeling Hospital is a team of genetic counselors and sonographers with special training in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. Dr. Thomas also is director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for West Penn Allegheny Health System. In addition to his practices in Wheeling and Pittsburgh, Dr. Thomas is associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Ob/Gyn, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. In 2010 and 2011, Dr. Thomas was listed in the Guide to America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He also was listed among the Top Doctors in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in 2010 and 2011 by Pittsburgh Magazine, based on research conducted by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. – Health Care Research and Information.
