In August of 2001, I discovered that my local art supply store was closing. Within two weeks I decided to come out of retirement to open my own art supply store. The best thing about Salt Bay Art Supply is the people who come through the door. I and my employees enjoy meeting new people and making them old friends. We enjoy solving problems, answering questions, and referring customers to experts when we aren't able to figure out a solution for them.

My goal is to carry the best quality art supplies that I can find. I do my best to find as many as possible that are Made in America. As I am always studying and learning about old and new products, the store is a "work in progress" with new products being introduced when I judge they will benefit Salt Bay Art Supply's customers.
