Description: Charles (Slim) Clark opened “Slim Clark Glass Shop” in 1952 at his home in Des Moines, Iowa. A little bit after the opening Charles (Bud) Clark Jr. joined his father Slim creating the family business that is dedicated to quality glass craftsmanship. By the late 1950's Slim Clark Glass shop moved from Slim's home to its very own commercial shop. Slim retired from the family business in the mid 1960's leaving Bud Clark in charge of the family owned and operated shop. Slim Clark's Glass Shop became incorporated in 1967 and was newly named “Clark Glass Shop Incorporated”. Four of Bud's sons; Jim, Tim, Tom and David joined their father in the family business in the late 1970's.
