Hudson Medical Services, PC: Kyle Lipton, MD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. Kyle Lipton has been practicing gynecology for nearly two decades. After spending the first half of his career providing both obstetric and gynecological care in a number of group settings, he opened his own practice in New Rochelle, New York in 2008 devoted solely to treating gynecological issues.
Doing so has enabled Dr. Lipton to offer the most advanced, top-quality care for such problems as chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, irregular menses, and infertility, without subjecting patients to long stretches in the waiting room and last-minute cancellations.
He performs ultrasounds himself, rather than sending women to a radiologist or technician who’s unfamiliar with her medical history or situation. This allows for superior diagnoses and treatment plans for a variety of issues.
Dr. Lipton earned his undergraduate degree and medical degrees from Cornell University and Sackler School of Medicine (with honors distinction), respectively. During his residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, he trained at four major teaching institutions. At Mount Sinai Medical center he received training for minimally invasive/endoscopic pelvic reconstruction surgery and urogynecologic surgery. At New York University Medical Center, where he trained in infertility medicine. At Englewood Hospital he studied the techniques employed in “Bloodless Surgery,” and at Elmhurst Hospital he trained in high-risk obstetrics.
Dr. Lipton completed his formal training as a chief resident with an emphasis on infertility and endoscopic pelvic reconstructive advanced laparoscopic surgery. He also participated in three years of training at the Johnson and Johnson’s advanced laparoscopic surgery laboratory. For his efforts in infertility research, Dr. Lipton was awarded the prestigious S.B. Gusberg Award from Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Lipton went on to study anesthesiology at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. There he trained in the administration of general, regional (epidural/spinal), and oral anesthesia. Dr. Lipton has taught the United States Army Special Operations Combat Medic students for several years and is certified in hyperbaric medicine.
He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, and is a member/fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Lipton was born and raised in New York, where he resides with his wife and two children.
