The Mona Lisa Touch laser is a painless procedure that specifically addresses the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). Hormonal changes after menopause can cause vaginal thinning which often results in dry and painful vaginal symptoms (especially during intercourse) and can also lead to urinary incontinence. After 2-3 painless treatments, we see significant improvement in vaginal dryness and irritation, decreased pain with intercourse, and even less urinary incontinence.
