Joe Policky is president of PowerHouse Enterprises. He has lived in the Omaha, Nebraska area most of his life. Joe was introduced to refrigeration and learned how to repair air conditioners in his spare time at a young age. In 2001, he decided to take a maintenance position at a large resort near Phoenix, AZ where he was eventually given the responsibility of taking care of the entire complex’s HVAC systems.

Although he had the necessary knowledge of heating and air conditioning by that time, he was never satisfied and continued his training. Eventually he became the maintenance manager on the evening shift. In 2003, Joe moved back to the Omaha area to start his family while working at his trade. As time passed Joe realized he could offer more to his customers and his family if started his own HVAC Company. In 2006 Joe began PowerHouse Heating and Air Conditioning, and has never looked back.

Through it all, Joe learned a lot about respecting the people he worked with and worked for. He also learned the value and importance of doing a job right the first time. However, he also realized no one can be perfect the first time, every time. He knew mistakes would happen, but he also knew if you were honest and make good on your promise to satisfy your customer 100% of the time, people would respect you for it.

This then is the main value he instills in his employees because this is our reputation, and our integrity absolutely depends on this simple, yet powerful, value. Simply put…it’s about creating an enduring relationship through earning our customers’ trust!

In 2014 Joe invited Jerry McMillan to join PowerHouse to help him expand. Jerry accepted because he knew of Joe’s work, and that his service is top notch. Jerry is currently an Associate Partner working as the company Administrator who’s duties include customer service and office manager.
