In 1969, Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel was opened to serve the east side of Spartanburg. With its ample parking and spacious chapel (seating up to 400), it has become our most selected locations for Visitations and Services.
The J. F. Floyd Mortuary, Crematory & Cemeteries is a family owned funeral home that was started in 1886 by John Franklin Floyd. It is owned and operated today by the 3rd generation of the Floyd family (Russel, Gordon and Suzan). We serve families of all faiths and beliefs, religious or otherwise. From traditional and military to contemporary and non-religious, with traditional preparation or preparation by cremation, our experienced staff will arrange and conduct a funeral service which honors your loved one and will satisfy your family's wants, needs and budget. Our staff is available 24/7 for your convenience. Our funeral home takes pride in having licensed funeral directors and embalmers on staff who are the most experienced in our area.
