Production meets innovation at Drake Commissary, an 8,000-square foot culinary workshop in the Junction Triangle, right across from the iconic Tower Automotive Building and new home to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Toronto (MOCA). Alongside neighbours Henderson Brewing and House of Anansi Press, Drake Commissary is paying homage to the history of 128 Sterling Rd., a former manufacturing building as a “gastronomic town square”, blending the lines between guests, bakers, chefs, + makers. We’re taking our values for high-quality food + local ingredients to the next level with fresh-made breads, pastas, charcuterie + pantry items for you to enjoy on the spot or take home. And bringing good food + culture to the people is our bread + butter.

The multipurpose space has been carefully designed by +tongtong to reflect a crafted, human approach to industrial spaces. Exposed wood beams, perforated steel, hand-picked mid-century furniture + bold accents amongst our characteristic Drake Art collection will inspire all guests whether grabbing a quick bite to eat or settling in for dinner with a touch of that classic Drake hospitality. Use the space for an afternoon think tank, get your hands dirty at a cooking class or sip an after-work cocktail over an artist talk. This could be the site to inspire the next great novel, the newest inspired screenplay or at the very least, a really great sandwich.
