About Dr. Gil Bloom
With his advanced skill set in cosmetic dentistry, restorative solutions, and dental emergencies, David Bloom, DMD, is a go-to practitioner for a wide variety of general dentistry needs. Dr. Bloom is one of the founding dentists of Wendroff & Bloom Dental, a state-of-the-art family practice located in the heart of Boca Raton, Florida.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in biology from Yeshiva College, Yeshiva University in New York City, Dr. Bloom was accepted into dental school. He went on to earn his doctor of medicine in dentistry at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
During his residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Hyde Park, New York, Dr. Bloom gained extensive experience in general practice dentistry. He focused on enhancing his skills in sedation dentistry, oral pathology, dental emergencies, complex restorations, and more.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bloom has worked in several general dentistry clinics that specialize in modern dental solutions with high-tech equipment. He has advanced training in CAD/CAM dentistry, which allows him to use computer-aided designs to create both fixed and removable dental prostheses, including crowns, veneers, and dentures. Dr. Bloom even served as a general dentist and instructor to Boston University and Harvard dental student externs, in a local community health clinic.
Because Dr. Bloom’s passion for dentistry and remaining at the forefront of innovative dental solutions are priorities, Dr. Bloom maintains a membership with Spear Study Clubs, comprehensive continuing education for dental professionals. Dr. Bloom is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
Being fluent in both English and Hebrew gives Dr. Bloom the opportunity to communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
