Briny Boutique

Alexa Chaviano, Owner and CEO of Briny boutique, was born and raised In Miami, Florida. She graduated from Westminster Christian High School with high honors and then attended FSU, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Finance. When she moved back to Miami, her entrepreneurial spirit wanted more knowledge so that she may open up her own business and make a positive impact in the community. Consequently, she graduated with High Honors from the FIU Master's in Finance program.

Alexa has worked in the women's fashion and accessories industry since 2012. Consequently, she has learned fashion merchandising, developed a concierge style of customer service, and the art of personal styling.

Alexa's dream has always been to open up her own boutique, carrying women's fashion and accessories. Her dream began when she went on weekend shopping trips as a teenager with her mom to NYC. They would visit all the neighborhoods of Manhattan, from the upper east side, to the shops in Soho, Chinatown, and the West Village. Those trips ignited a flame in her that has never diminished.

The name Briny, means "salt water". Alexa has a passion for the beach and loves the ocean. She is very thankful that at the tender age of 24, her dream has come true. Briny Boutique is born and open for business in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The location is not only is near the ocean, but it is also home to many of her Delta Gamma sorority sisters, and is now her home residence as well.
