Located on Avenue of the Americas, between 16th and 17th Streets, in the famous Chelsea section of New York, we are between midtown and downtown. Our location is easily accessible by all means of transportation. We are open every day, except major holidays, and believe in personalized service with a friendly, multi-lingual staff. There are no bright, flashing lights, no loud music, and no high-pressure salesmen. All this combines for a most pleasant shopping experience.

Founded in 1963, Dave's moved to its present location in 1999 and is managed by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. The store has been selected as Carhartt's "Retailer of the Year" and presented with the prestigious "Hamilton Carhartt Award of Excellence". Dave's has also been featured on BBC's Rough Guide to New York, and chosen by Maxim Fashion, U.K. as one of the "World's 80 Greatest Shops".
