Our mission is to provide skilled, experienced, and compassionate care to those who are ready to take the first steps to recovery from opiate or alcohol dependence. We recognize that addiction is a chronic illness, not a personal choice or a moral failing, and our caring staff treats every patient with dignity, respect, and privacy.

Our motto, "Overcoming addiction changes everything", underscores our belief that the possibilities are limitless when the burden of addiction is finally lifted. Many of our patients and their families who have suffered through years of substance dependency problems have experienced the joy of regaining their lives and loved ones.

WellCrest is directed by Dr. Norma Lopez, a board-certified addiction specialist and family physician who has been successfully treating patients with substance dependency issues since 2006. Her reputation as a kind, gentle, and devoted doctor is well-known among her patients and colleagues.

Our individually tailored programs consist of medical treatments utilizing Suboxone or Vivitrol in combination with behavioral health therapy sessions provided by experienced addiction counselors. We believe that this multi-disciplinary approach is essential to lasting recovery because it addresses both the physical and psychological components of addiction.

Since our program is out-patient based and does not involve daily office visits, patients can maintain their normal daily routines at home, school, and work.

We are located in a private office in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, just two minutes from Exit 42 on I-95/128. Most major commercial insurance plans are accepted .
