The Big Dipper Creamery family has been in the ice cream industry for three generations, opening our first ice cream shop in Sarasota, Florida in 1990. In 2003, we built Big Dipper Creamery in Blaine, Minnesota emphasizing our commitment to handcrafted, quality ice cream by using fresh, local farmer’s natural cream. By using natural, locally sourced cream we handcraft our ice cream in small batches and pour passion into every cup, cone, malt, sundae, split, bar, quart, pint, and cake. We have 52 flavors every day and we are proud of every single handcrafted flavor.
A scoop of ice cream is always tempting but we also have other services at Big Dipper Creamery! If you have a birthday, anniversary or any event, we can provide a custom made ice cream cake for you. Our cakes are homemade and handcrafted, including your choice of two flavors of ice cream!
Hosting an event? Big Dipper Creamery also caters! Turn any event into a sweet success with our portable ice cream cart that can hold up to eight flavors of your choice. We can deliver the cart to you and provide a staff member to scoop the ice cream for you.
