Paul Dancy, D.C. — Dr. D. to his patients — heads East Bay Chiropractic Group, with locations in Oakland and San Leandro, California. Dr. D. takes pride in patient awareness, not simply treating patients, but also helping them understand their condition and the course of treatment. He understands that family health care must fit both schedule and budget to be truly effective. Focusing on body range of motion and function, Dr. D. targets positive treatment around what can be done — not on what can’t change.
Dr. D. received his associate’s degree in business administration from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York. After realizing that his 10-year career on Wall Street didn’t allow him to give back to those historically in need, he returned to school and received his doctorate from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, in 1998. Dr. D. later returned to school and earned a liberal arts bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College in Albany, New York.
Away from his practice, Dr. D. stays involved in philanthropic activities in the East Bay area, distributing over $1 million into the community during his tenure as chairman.
