The Firm Costruzioni Meccaniche Sottoriva S.p.A. was founded in 1944 by two brothers, Giuseppe and Claudio Sottoriva. Within a few years it became a leading company in the world of machines and plants for bread production. Sottoriva America, Inc., began their operations with IBIE 2010 Baking Expo in Las Vegas in September 2010. The company, with offices and warehousing, was established in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a vision of better serving the US market.
