Why is Trigger Burst Different? We have a law enforcement Firearm Simulator. We use this to train Judgment Skills in Shoot/Don't Shoot situations for all levels of handgun training. No one else in the county has a modern privately owned law enforcement grade firearm simulator. And, this is the same simulator used at our local police academy and law enforcement agencies. Additionally, we have a large and professional training classroom and facility located conveniently in Newbury Park.

For civilian firearms training, we train all categories of interest from the initial Ventura County Sheriff's Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) course and renewal, Pistol, Carbine (AR15/AK47, and variants), and Shotgun courses for beginner to advances students. Most of the firearms courses are open to the public. Families are welcomed, as are private classes and one-on-one training.

For Security Guards, we cover all BSIS required training modules for California Security Guards. We offer the basic BSIS courses, including Modules A (Basic Security Guard Training), B and C (Management of Assaultive Behavior, Public Relations, Communication, Observation and Communication, Legal Aspects, etc.). Elective courses are available and meet the requirements of BSIS, including Tear Gas Certification, Exposed Weapons Permits, Baton Permits, First Aid/CPR/AED, and more.

We also offer home defense consultation and instruction for the most effective ways to keep you and yours safe in an increasingly unpredictable society.
