Welcome to Lava Hot Springs West KOA, located downtown at 89 N. Center St. Exit off of Hwy 30 under the water slides. We are the closest campground to the Olympic-sized swimming pool and water park. Lava Hot Springs KOA West offers lodging, camping and glamping accommodations during any season of the year. If you plan to stay during the summer season, make your reservation 6 months ahead.  This campground is centrally located to all the fun-filled activities, which makes it very popular.  The footbridge located over the Portneuf River makes for a fast and easy access to the water park from any campsite. The World Famous Hot Springs are only 3 blocks away and open year round.  With many new renovations still in the near future, we'd like to announce the new Pavilion is ready for private rental gatherings, or free to use with courtesy to all campers.  It seats approximately 30-40 people. Our KOA provides new shower facilities, laundromat, playground, jumping pillow, dog run, gift shop/convenience store, fire pits, fishing and Wi-Fi.  Floating the natural Portneuf River is a popular adventure.
