All of our LAVA TOUR GUIDES are locals who provide information, folklore and stories about Hawaii and the history of the lava flows that only locals know! What's more, we can also cut 6 miles off your journey, as our private property parking area is only a 45 minute walk from the flow!! They are the closest properties to the flow and well past the public parking area!! Currently, the public has a 10 mile round trip from the county parking area. The lava's just 2 miles from where we park you!
