Description: Johnie Blum, RN, MSN, FNP received her Bachelors in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, She soon found her passion in pediatrics working at both Phoenix Children's Hospital and Cardons Children's Hospital. She soon pursued her Advanced level degree and was rewarded a Masters in Science as Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Johnie strongly believes that in order to treat children it is important to understand their role in the family. Family centered care allows identification of risk for disease and illness in addition to physiological, physical, and emotional issues in order to design a proper care plan that reduce these risks across the entire family unit.
