Rafael Juarez, M.D.
Dr. Juarez is a native of Southern California and received his undergraduate degree from San Diego University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He completed his internship and residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2011, Dr. Juarez was recognized as one of the Leading Physicians of the World. Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Juarez is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Clark County Medical Society, Clark County OB/GYN Society, Nevada State Medical Society and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons . Dr. Juarez is fluent in Spanish and enjoys wood carving and carpentry in his spare time, as well as spending time with his wife and 4 sons. Dr. Juarezs patient and gentle manner has earned him a large and loyal patient following.
Natalie Metcalf, P.A.-C
Natalie is our Certified OB/GYN Physician Assistant. She can take care of you for your annual exams, birth control needs, gynecological complaints or problems, menopause management, and pregnancy care. She received her P.A. degree from the Touro University in Las Vegas. Natalies dedication and thoroughness with each of her patients has earned her an ever increasing patient volume at DWHC.
Triage
Lesa works in the nurses office and is the woman on the other end of the phone when you call with a medical question or if you are looking for lab results. Lesa is very knowledgeable in all aspects of contraception, menopause, pregnancy, and gyn problems and is always happy to help answer your questions. Lesa can be reached by pressing option 2.
Medical Billing
Janine is our medical billing specialist. She posts your payments and processes claims to your insurance company. Janine is extremely diligent about keeping up with current billing/coding and insurance changes so that she can handle any issues that may arise from your claim. Janine is always available to answer any of your financial questions, and can be reached by selecting option 7.
Prescription Refills
Norma works in our back office as a Medical Assistant. She will use her skills and years of experience to take excellent care of you during your office visit. Norma is also part of the team that handles prescription refills. She works with your pharmacy to makes sure that your refills are processed as fast as possible. (NOTE: Prescription refills can take between 24-48 hours for processing.) The refill line can be reached by pressing option 4.
Surgery Scheduling/OB Coordinator
Allyson is our OB Coordinator. She assists our pregnant patients with any non-medical needs related to initial scheduling, benefits and financial issues. Allyson also is our surgery scheduler. She obtains prior authorization from your insurance company, schedules the surgery and sees that your post operative visit is scheduled. Allyson can be reached by pressing option 5.
