Serenity Psychiatry: Samer Kamal, MD

Dr. Samer Kamal is a highly respected, licensed psychiatrist specializing in ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Disorders in Beverly Hills and the greater Los Angeles area of California. Dr. Kamal received his B.A. from CSU Sacramento in 2002 and went on to complete his MD at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2007. From 2007-2009 he engaged in research about treatment resistant depression, followed by a residency at New York Medical College from 2009-2013. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at UC Riverside and practices psychiatry at Serenity Psychiatry of Beverly Hills.
In addition to English, Dr. Kamal speaks Romanian and Arabic fluently and takes pride in his ability to work sensitively with diverse cultural values and beliefs, particularly with LGBT patients and issues. He is also experienced with conditions and concerns of geriatric adults over the age of 60. Dr. Kamal’s intensive medical training provide him with the delicate understanding needed to prescribe psychotropic medications to patients on other prescription drugs, including those with complex conditions such as cancer, HIV, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and kidney and liver disease.
