Dr. Awan completed residency at the University of North Carolina, and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque. He also completed surgical training from the Royal College of Surgeons in England, which enhances his ability to evaluate and treat his patients in the field of Gastroenterology.
