Safe Haven Too Daycare Center, Inc. is in its 18th year. We cater to children 6 weeks to 13-year-olds in the Baltimore community.
Our huge space accommodates up to 94 children, who receive teaching, nurturing, and caring guidance from our certified teaching staff.
Owner, Director Janice Hussey has several child care certifications. Her background includes operating a home-based daycare for almost 10 years prior to managing a faith-based childcare center where she experienced ongoing growth while providing exceptional childcare services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-adolescents from the working middle-class, special education, low-income, and at-risk child population from the area and several local school sites.
Ms. Hussey created employment opportunities for economically disadvantaged adults and teens at the south Baltimore location and though now center-based, still provides a nurturing, strong curriculum in the Montgomery Industrial Park, less than 10 minutes outside of the downtown Baltimore area.
You'll find Safe Haven Too in a security entrance building, amid Maryland State offices, including the Maryland Transit office, and Carroll Park Golf Course centered amid the Monroe Street and Washington Boulevard's busy intersections, on conveniently located bus lines and with easy access from I-295, 695 inter-loop and the I-95 interstate.
