Hello, my name is Rob Lawrence, President of Prestige Home Inspections. I understand that purchasing a home can be a very stressful time in one’s life. Our goal is to help our clients understand the home inspection, conduct a non-invasive visual inspection of the home and its systems and report on the conditions of the home, both positive and negative.

Prestige Home Inspections is a locally owned and operated home inspection business serving the counties of Summit, Wayne, Medina, Stark, Cuyahoga and Portage. Our staff consists of three Certified ASHI Home Inspectors and a fulltime office staff consisting of an office manager and marketing consultant.

History
Robert Lawrence, President of Prestige Home Inspections started his construction and home building career with his family at the age of 16. Following the family construction experience led him to a career in home and building inspection industry in the late 1990s with a large multi-inspector firm in Northeast Ohio which led to the formation of Prestige Home Inspections in 2000. Prestige Home Inspections has conducted thousands of home inspections throughout Northeast Ohio Since 2000.

Our Inspectors
Robert Lawrence, President of Prestige Home Inspections serves as the lead inspector in the firm shared with two other ASHI Certified Inspectors. The background of our inspectors is carefully investigated prior to hiring.

All inspectors have an extensive background in construction and past experience in the home inspection industry. All inspectors have completed an approved ASHI Home Inspection Training Module and are Certified ASHI Inspectors. They have all passed the National Home Inspector Exam, ASHI Code of Ethics and Standard of Practice exams. Every year they all complete more than 20 hours of continuing education as ASHI requires.

All inspectors are full-time professional firefighters in your community with extensive background checks. Your future home and family are in the best hands the home inspection industry has to offer. Many people ask how that is possible that all of our inspectors are full-time firefighters and home inspectors as well. That’s easy to answer, as firefighters we work two 24 hour shifts a week and spend our remaining 5 days off conducting home inspections.
