Looking back, I wished that I had a service to walk me through the maze of senior options and to offer me the support and guidance needed to make the right decision. Instead, we choose the first place that was available and was close to my home. In hindsight, it wasn't the right fit because of her memory issues. We watched her struggle to manage herself with daily living and didn't understand her complete needs.
