River Valley Comfort Shoes, LLC is an independently owned and operated comfort oriented shoe store that was founded in 2009. Chris and Cheryl Gurnee started the store with the idea of offering unique merchandise not found in most department stores or shopping centers.

We are authorized resellers of the Z-Coil Pain Relief Footwear, the amazing shoe with the coils that have helped relieve the pain and discomfort of plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, knee, back and hip pain and relieve the overall stress from working or standing on concrete or other hard surfaces.

We also offer Propet, the shoes that come in many extended sizes and widths, of which a large percent are diabetic approved, and from the Spring Footwear group, featuring an array of styles from Italy and Spain and other countries know for making quality items.

We feature handbags from the world renown Ameribag, makers of the Healthy back bag, a style that has been copied over and over and MC Handbags, a maker of high quality styles in unique colors and finishes.

We also offer sport inserts from Powerstep, orthotics from Aetrex, featuring Lyncos plus Diabetic approved inserts from Propet and sport socks and diabetic socks from Drymax, Aetrex and Propet.

A lot of our merchandise is shipped directly to the customer from our vendors, so all the merchandise listed on the web site are not always available in the store, so if you plan on visiting us and are looking for a certain item please call first and if you are looking for an item from one of our venders, but do not see it on our site, please call, if it is a current item we can get it.
