After graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989, Dr. Lavigna completed his internship at Worcester Podiatry before finishing his foot and ankle surgical residency at Worcester City Hospital in 1991. He opened his first clinic in San Francisco, then moved his practice to Oakland in 1996, where he has been in practice for more than 20 years since. Dr. Lavigna is an experienced surgeon and Chief of Podiatry at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. He is a recognized professional in the Bay Area medical community.
