Delaware Advanced Vein Center: Anthony Alfieri, D.O., FACC

Dr. Anthony D. Alfieri is a vein specialist serving Newark, DE through the Delaware Advanced Vein Center. The Center holds accreditation by the ICAVL and helps people in Delaware and New Castle County resolve vein issues such as pain, varicose veins, spider veins, and skin discoloration. For 25 years, Dr. Alfieri practiced interventional cardiology, yet during that time, Dr. Alfieri noticed severe vein disease in many of his patients. Seeing this issue, Dr. Alfieri set his sights on becoming an expert in Phlebology, the study of vein disease. Phlebology has been around for some time, yet new and innovative techniques to treat varicose veins are emerging. In 2008, Dr. Alfieri opened the Delaware Advanced Vein Center. At his Center, Dr. Alfieri treats patients with venous insufficiency. Yet, he invites all individuals questioning their veins to come in for a free vein screening. Conditions such as varicose veins are treatable and preventable, and with the proper education, patients can be empowered to have the best-looking veins.
