Based in Oak Park, Dr. Lyndon Taylor has treated many women who live in Oak Park and in the near west suburbs of Chicago. A respected OB/GYN, Dr. Taylor is highly trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology with interests in urogynecology and infertility and offers a wide array of services for his patients.
After completing medical school, Dr. Taylor went through a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Taylor became board-certified in 1985 and has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology ever since.
During his 30-plus years of experience as an OB/GYN, Dr. Taylor served as the President and CEO of Healthcare For Women, which opened the first OB/GYN office-based surgical facility in Illinois, in 1991. Healthcare For Women was accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC). Presently Dr. Taylor is a COEMIG designated surgeon who performs surgery at Westlake Hospital one of the first hospitals in Illinois to receive the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology designation. He was also honored to be part of the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program's John J. Sciarra, M.D. Ph.D. delegation to Tibet and China in 2011. This was a unique opportunity to connect with medical providers from 8 hospitals across China that provided a cross-cultural exchange of medical information in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Infertility between our countries.
At his office in Oak Park, Dr. Taylor provides everything from routine birth control and pap smears to advanced treatment for fibroid, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, infertility treatments, and treatment of urinary incontinence. Some other services he offers are PCOS assessment, prenatal care, STD testing, and hormone replacement treatments.
Dr. Taylor has been serving the Chicago community since 1983, and he is glad to be able to continue helping women in the city and surrounding areas.
