My approach is particularly effective because I show my clients exactly what is driving their communication challenges ~ on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels. Then I teach them how to address the core issues, rather than being distracted by symptoms.
Because of this, my clients experience deeply satisfying, practical and personal results ~ more quickly than with any other approach they’ve tried.
Everyone deserves to experience freedom in communication! If you, your loved one or your employees avoid conflict, struggle with finding the “right” words to say, or wonder how to thrive during times of change, I can help you transform into confident, clear communicators.
Credentials…
My credentials include more than 20 years experience as a manager, leadership coach, truth seeker, business owner and professional speaker. Clients enjoy my playful nature and insightful programs. I believe pleasure has a place in communication!
I am the author of two books, including the award-winning The Secret Life of Communication: Opening to unlimited love, available now.
I hold a bachelors degree in International Studies from University of Oregon, a masters degree in management from Cornell University, and a doctorate in education, emphasizing organizational development, from The University of Texas at Austin.
To become balanced in my mind, heart, body and spirit, I studied for two years at the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism. That, along with more than 10 years of intensive personal development, enables me to guide others to deeper layers of connection within their own mind, heart, body and spirit.
How Annie got her groove…
If you had known me in 1971, you would have noticed that I was a bit…abnormal. I started talking very early and once I got the hang of it, I rarely stopped to take a breath! I remember lying in my “big girl bed,” wondering about how to express my thoughts and reviewing what I’d learned that day about the “right” way to speak (I know~abnormal). Curiosity about communication it seems, was in my DNA.
During my first 33 years of life, I was much more interested in mastering communication with others than in communicating with my own, deeper self. I earned advanced degrees, studied effective leadership and achieved success as a manager, speaker and consultant. However, I wasn’t truly happy. I didn’t realize that my overall sense of well-being hinged on the communication going on inside my mind, body, heart and spirit.
On the outside, it looked as if I had everything together. The truth was, although I had a great career, I felt empty. I was an excellent worker and respected leader, but I had no groove. I had forgotten how to do anything but work. Blech!
Eventually I became so annoyed by the nagging sense of yuck that I decided to turn my attention toward my inner experiences. When I learned how to notice the communication coming from my heart, body and spirit, it became so much easier to resolve uncomfortable thoughts and give energy to my biggest dreams.
I reconnected with my innate wisdom and remembered how to enjoy life. Soon, I began attracting clients who were ready to transform their own lives. They shifted from being dominated by internal and external conflict to enjoying true connection and freedom. That’s what I wish for you!
