Comprehensive Primary Care is a primary care practice with eight locations: Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Germantown, Montgomery Village and Rockville, Maryland; Woodley Park and U-Street in Washington, DC, and Ashburn, Virgina. Our providers include physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants that collectively offer more than 100 years of experience in specialties ranging from internal medicine and family practice to nephrology. At Comprehensive Primary Care, we focus on the holistic health of the patient. So often, patients are treated as a collection of symptoms or medical conditions that can often lead to a misdiagnosis. At our locations, our providers spend time getting to know you, so we can tailor our care to your needs. We try our best to provide you with the highest possible levels of communication, education, and support. We see you as a partner and our goal is to form a lasting relationship, based on trust. Our exceptional healthcare providers can help you manage all of your healthcare needs, from basic preventive care to acute conditions and chronic illness management. Although we believe strongly in the advanced aspects of medical care, we also feel that our cutting edge technology can help us serve you better. We use an electronic medical record (EMR) with a patient portal to make your life easier. For example, you can use the patient portal to request appointments or medical records, get a list of your medications and request prescription refills, see lab results, access patient education materials and see your medical statements. You can also create a personal health record to take with you if you see a specialist or move to a new location. We don't charge for our patient portal because we feel it's so important for you to have free access to your medical information, which will help you stay healthier. Of course, we're always very careful to protect your privacy. As part of our dedication to practicing patient-centered medicine, we use the patient medical home model. We'll stay in contact with you, help coordinate your care and make sure your care plan stays up to date by periodically conducting a needs assessment to identify how things are going in your life and what changes might be beneficial.
