Elanimage, formerly known as Executive Alterations and Formalwear, was established in 2013 by the original & current owner, Lydia Chu.

Lydia grew up in Dallas, Texas, where she learned how to sew and took an interest in Fashion while helping her parents run their business in the garment industry. She later went on to study at The University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with a degree in Sociology. Soon after, Lydia became a business owner running multiple dry cleaners in Sacramento.

In 2005, Lydia moved to Davis, where she opened Executive Cleaners in West Davis and moved on to open two more. In 2013, after adding Executive Alterations and Formalwear to her ever growing business, she decided to sell her dry cleaning stores to solely focus on Alterations and Tuxedo Rentals. Elanimage was born in the beginning of 2016, right after Lydia became a certified Stylist and added image consultation service to her current business.
