We have had ADT for 2 years in our current house and 5 years before that. Recently we called and spoke with a representative about canceling our home phone and internet. I specifically asked if this would interfere with our service (we also have ADT pulse). The representative's response was "absolutely not" and explained that their system can monitor through the wireless cell transmitter (this is probably not the right terminology). My husband was also on the line and we asked this question multiple times before we canceled out ATT service. About a week after we noticed we were no longer able to use Pulse. Apparently the information we were given was inaccurate. Fortunately, ADT monitors and records their phone lines. After reviewing this phone call they were suppose to get back to us. 2 weeks later - no phone call from them. They didn't offer anything to attempt to fix this situation. The reasoning for going with ADT was for Pulse. However, by not calling after their reviewed the phone which clearly stated the wrong information the representative gave us - shows they truly don't value their customers.
