She was raised in Virginia Beach and earned her undergraduate degree from the Saint Leo University. She spent the majority of her career serving the Virginia Beach Police Department. As a police officer and attorney, Tammy McClenney handles complex cases in the Hampton Roads, VA region. She served with the Virginia Beach Police Department and the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney in Virginia Beach prior to pursuing and passing the Bar exam.
