Middle Road Redemption Center is a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) accredited deposit redemption center in Potsdam, NY that collects, sorts, and handles reimbursement fees of qualified empty beverage containers. Our bottle redemption standard strictly follows New York’s Returnable Container Act. Your rights as a consumer allow you to receive a refund of the deposit paid at the time of purchase. When you return a container to us, you will receive 5.5 cents for each bottle or can you bring.

The Returnable Container Act
The State of New York has some restrictions that apply to the return of empty beverage containers at a redemption center. Under New York’s bottle law, cans must be returned to the distributor. We are here to serve as the middleman between the consumer and these beverage distributors. Head to our recycling facility and we’ll take care of your trash bottles and cans for you. Just make sure the beverage containers to be deposited have the New York refund label and are in reasonably good condition.
