McMillen is a woman-owned business, founded with the purpose of providing environmental and natural resources, engineering, construction, and design-build services. Since inception, McMillen has strived to build both in-house design and in-house construction capabilities for multiple market sectors. With roots in the water resources and fisheries markets, we have since expanded to serve the hydropower, transportation, environmental, regulatory, hydraulic and hydrology, and water/wastewater markets.

McMillen’s organizational structure ensures a seamless integration of the regulatory, environmental, engineering, and construction teams throughout a project’s execution. This approach has been utilized successfully on a wide range of design-build and construction projects. We are a full-service firm with project experience extending from the planning and licensing phases through design, and then to construction and project start-up.

The construction division brings a strong, experienced staff providing design-build and hard-bid construction services throughout North America. Our key team members have been involved in every aspect of construction from supervision and purchasing to detailed project management, estimating, and corporate management. We have extensive experience in executing various types of contracts while simultaneously performing multiple construction projects at numerous locations.
