Born and raised in South Florida, Tore was introduced to the world of Tournament Sport Fishing at a very young age. His parents were both avid Bonefish, Tarpon, and Sailfish anglers and never hesitated to include Tore in their fishing expeditions Captain Tore Turney also spent his youth on the clear waters of the Florida Keys working the docks of the famous Bud and Mary's Marina in Islamorada. Working for world-renowned Captain Skip Nelson and Captain Alex Alder, Tore was hand trained how to professionally run a charter operation.

As seen in Florida sportsman magazine and Reel Adventures TV, Tore has been recognized as one of the best in the business. Captain Tore has been blessed with several Tournament wins including overall champion in the Silver Sailfish Derby in 2003 and 2007. Turney Loves to share his passion with others and is annually featured in seminars at local boat shows and fishing clubs.

With a variety of sponsors, Tore stays up to date with state of the art tackle and tactics used to target Florida's gamefish.
