If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I love kickboxing Harlem is full of energy. This place is clean and bright. The staff makes you feel like family from the minute you walk through the door. Ting, Andre, Donnitta along with the rest of the instructors are all top notch and give you the one on one attention many other gyms lack. If you are looking for an intense - high energy workout with lots of fun then this is the place for you.

The instructors are personable and make a real effort to get to know you and what your strengths and weaknesses are. They motivate you and push you to go beyond your limits; they help you set goals and hold you accountable to achieving them. They share dietary plans and personal workout regimens to allow you to keep to your commitments on those days that you don't attend a class. ILKB is GREAT! The employees at this location have so much energy and they really motivate you to keep going! I am so happy I decided to sign up and be a part of this team that feels more like a family. I have only attended 8 classes so far over the course of 5 weeks and I already lost 3 pounds! I know if I put in more time, and actually start eating healthy I can see results faster working with ILKB Harlem, NY!!! I discovered ilkb through a Facebook Promotion where I bought 5 classes and got pink gloves! After my first class I decided to sign up for the membership so I can come whenever it works with my schedule. Trying for at least 3 days a week! It is hard, but is an amazing workout and is gradually getting easier. The instructors are great at pushing you and also working with you. Highly recommended!

I absolutely recommend this place!! I never thought I would love a group work out but I was WRONG! I love the instructors and love love all the members! I started the kick boxing class after purchasing a Groupon for 10 classes. It took me a few months to actually redeem the groupon. When I did, I had to wait about 3 weeks to start my first class as I needed to attend a class with a private instructor and the availabilities did not match my schedule. I was finally able to start my first class towards the end of November and became a member in January/ February 2017. The work out is intense with the high paced 15 minute warm up, then some stretching followed by the actual bag routines and ends with partner work and a cool down stretching. The instructors are all friendly and welcoming. The other participants are nice as well. I really enjoy this experience!

For years I waited on my letter from Hogwarts. I always thought it got lost having to cross an ocean and all that. Alas no such letter was received. Years later I found my own Hogwarts in Harlem. No, not the looming spires of The City College of New York, but the welcoming bright lights of I Love Kickboxing Harlem. Here, I don't learn transfiguration, but instead transformation. In place of wands we get gloves.* They can't be used for casting spells, but are amazing for releasing stress. Here Yule Balls are replaces by monthly theme parties where everyone is an active participant. While there is no Hargrid to hang out with after class, there are instructors with the kind firmness found in Professor McGonagall. A bit of Professor Flitwick is found in all the instructors when they come around to correct form for maximum impact. This studio has nurturing support system that would make Neville Longbottom jealous. *Yes, I know Hogwarts is not where one gets wands.

Loved my first day back. Have a love hate relationship with my sore abs and thighs right now. Due to Yesterday's class ...which was filled with energy, fun and intensity. If you get bored at the gym, like I do ...this is totally for you!! Everyone is super nice at the Harlem location and super awesome. When you feel like giving up, the instructors are right there pushing you through it. When you're lost they are there guiding you. Totally worth it!! Side note: There isn't a muscle in your body you won't feel the next day !! Guaranteed!! Haha you won't be disappointed.

I joined I love kickboxing Harlem almost two months ago. It was the best thing I've ever done! From the first day they make you feel very comfortable and welcomed. The classes are just the push in the right direction. I go at least three times a week. The instructors are awesome and anyone looking to building up their endurance, weight loos and just their overall health, should definitely take a class. I decided to try kickboxing four years ago, and it’s one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve lost nearly 60 lbs and am in the best shape of my life. More importantly, I feel healthy and have gained a self-confidence that I’ve never known before. I recently joined the iLoveKickboxing Harlem location, and it has been nothing but great. Every instructor is different, but they all give an incredible workout. Even better, they’re supportive as they do it. Just when you think you’re going to quit, they make you believe you can keep going. Pushing your limits is what leads to results. Doing it in a fun and energetic environment just makes you want to do it more. All of the members are friendly and here to have a good time while getting in shape. Before I became a member at Ilovekickboxing I tried going to the gym. I would sign up and go no more than 2 times and I won't go after that. I was never motivated, the gym is just not for me. Ilovekickboxing on the other hand have a different affect on me. I'm addicted, I even double up on classes some days. The staff is friendly, loving, wild, and crazy. Look, I knew that I wanted to be a part of I Love Kickboxing before I ever joined. Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Tae-Bo---the martial arts---they’ve always been awe-inspiring to me. The idea alone that there would be this center for training right in my back yard was enough. The first day I stepped inside the studio I saw people of all shapes and sizes getting fitted in their gloves and ready for training. My excitement then was on ten. My own first training day was uber-hype—well, maybe that’s an understatement. The music kept you revved to go and each and every one of the trainers were diligently dedicated to your form and enthusiasm. It truly was and has been an awesome experience. Today, in honor of the life and memory of Muhammad Ali, I dedicate 74 days to I Love Kickboxing in the name of Ali’s personal life commitment to his desire, his dream and his vision. This is for all of the change agents from ILKB to the boxing rings and in the streets. Thank you all.
