We do things differently at Defending Our Own.

We believe that good communication isn’t good enough – It has to be great. Our practice is structured to maximize the flow of meaningful client – attorney communication. We listen. We ask questions. We discuss issues. We provide clear, precise answers to complicated questions. And, we help our clients create and implement plans.

We have a simple, fair billing system – no surprises, no disputes. All of our Self Defense Law Consultation, Aftermath Planning, and Gun Trust services are billed on a fixed fee basis. This allows us to provide great professional service at a fraction of our normal hourly rate. And, if you are in any way unhappy with our efforts, let us know immediately – we won’t question your judgment – you will owe us nothing, and we will refund 100% of any fees you’ve paid.

We are responsive. Our normal business hours are from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific (8:00 am to 9:00 pm Eastern) Monday through Friday. We are available every hour of every day of the year for our clients in emergency situations.

We sweat the small stuff. We are devoted to the details of our clients’ cases. We are precise, persistent perfectionists. To us, minutia matters.

We keep our mouths shut. All attorneys owe their clients a duty of confidentiality. However, what information is considered private, and how it is protected, varies. Our firm is built and run to maximize our clients’ security. We jealously guard our clients’ identities and all of their private information completely. We provide our clients with absolute discretion.

At Defending Our Own, our goal is to establish meaningful long-term relationships with our clients – and we pursue that goal in a whole new way.
