URGENT MESSAGE – THE EASTERN STAR NURSING HOME AND POUNDER HALL IS NOW CLOSED TO ALL VISITORS

In order to protect our resident population, effective immediately, all visitation has been suspended at the Eastern Star Home and Pounder Hall.
Family members may be allowed for medically necessary reasons; however, will be restricted to the resident room only. Skilled Nursing & Enriched Housing residents will not leave the facility other than for necessary medical appointments.
Alternative means of communication including phone and email will be made available to residents. Nursing and Social Work staff for Skilled Nursing & Enriched Housing residents will provide resident’s representatives with routine communication/updates on changes in condition/updates to plans of care.
This directive takes effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
