As a counselor, I create a safe and inviting space for you to investigate your own story, share the fullness of your experience, discover your strengths and finally silence the negative tapes that have been playing in your head, holding you back for too long. I believe that a decision to come to counseling is a brave first step on your journey of self-discovery leading to the life that you desire for yourself.
Counseling offered by phone or on-line. A counseling practice with a tailored empathic approach working with individuals and couples. Individual counseling includes issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions including divorce and retirement and work life balance. I utilize the well researched methods of John Gottman PhD in my work with couples. Couples at any stage in their relationship, gay or straight, can benefit from some relationship and communication improvements. I also welcome couples in a pre marriage or commitment stage or couples who are thinking about moving in together. The revelation of secrets often brings a couple to counseling to see if their relationship can be repaired.
