Cutler is a Canadian interior design & construction firm located in Vancouver BC. Since opening in 2009, Cutler has eschewed the traditional models of a corporate design firm and all of their potential drawbacks in favor of building a small, detail-oriented company capable of seeing projects of all sizes through from start to finish, striking whenever opportunities arise, producing award-winning work, and saving money for our clients.Creative director and interior designer Natalie Cutler's team specializes in commercial interior design and project management, with a track record of successes in retail, commercial, and real estate development all over Canada and clients of all sizes. We care about building beautiful, environmentally responsible and highly functional spaces, and we have fun doing it.

Unlike the typical major design firm, Cutler deliberately avoided building around a bloated corporate model. As a result, our versatile staff can act quickly, make decisions, and move a project forward in situations where a larger firm may spend weeks, months, or years deliberating and pushing forms from office to office and back again. Furthermore, we have an extraordinary understanding of construction budgeting and finance. While many firms say that they can design a project to meet specific budgetary constraints, their lack of experience often leads to overruns, delays, and additional spending before your investment has the potential to recoup. We don't do this. If we oversee your project, we carry it to completion, allowing you to know that your work is in good hands and being handled with care. Our services are diverse and wide-ranging.

We offer interior design for commercial, retail, office, and multi-family projects, architectural design and project management, construction project management, wayfinding, space planning, and tenant improvement. We can realize an idea from the very beginning stages, offering planning (concept and prototyping, branding and signage, creative design, feasibility, site reviewing, scheduling and budgeting, and brand integration), design and pre-construction (site-specific planning, material selection, rendering, drawing production, mechanical and electrical drawings, interior merchandising, A/V, security, and point of sale, permitting, and vendor selection), and construction (contracting and vendor management), leading to putting the finishing touches on your project.Our work has received awards from the International Council of Shopping Centers in 2013 and 2014, has resulted in the completion of major projects such as St Mays Hospice, the last freestanding hospice in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, and is seen and experienced by thousands of Canadians every day.
