Michelle Velez has been a mortgage planner over 25 years and is the immediate past State President for the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (2014-2015). This is her third term on the executive board.
She is known as well, for her lobbying efforts around housing reform, on behalf of her many clients and peers.

Previously, Michelle also served for 4 years on the San Francisco Peninsula Chapter of CAMP board...including 2 years as President.
Michelle is currently a Sales Manager for Supreme Lending out of San Diego Branch but operating out of their San Mateo office. She has extensive experience with FHA, VA, Conventional and Jumbo financing. Prior to coming over to Supreme Lending, she was a Sales Manager for Prospect Mortgage as well as W.J. Bradley and was Broker of Record for Partners Mortgage in San Jose.

Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator #272427, Certified Mortgage Coach, Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, Certified Mortgage Advisor, and current NAMB (National Association of Mortgage Brokers) Director.
Michelle has participated for the last 5 years with SAMCAR (San Mateo County Association of Realtors) for Realtor Service Volunteer Program (RSVP) which involves assisting senior citizens in San Mateo County focusing on home improvements and safety enhancements.
In addition, she sits on the SAMCAR Legislative committee for the past 2 years and is currently the Chair Woman for the Peninsula SAMCAR Legislative Committee.

Michelle is a devoted breast cancer advocate, completing the AVON Breast Cancer Walk four times, and promoting the grassroots program Young Women & Breast Cancer (YWBC) Awareness. As participant and mentor, Michelle has completed three seasons by competing in the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon and half marathon with Team in Training for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; she contributed to the corporate team to help raise over $700,000 for L&LS.
