James Jensen Life Coach and Guidance services (JJLC) are primarily designed for individuals who are experiencing some type of major, personal, relational or professional challenge which also often includes a change in life course… a transition of sorts. Similarly, mentoring services are offered to those who find themselves in what is being called today, “a period of extended adolescence” and is geared toward people between the ages of 17 – 28 who usually describe themselves as “stuck” or “lost”. The JJLC coaching and mentoring services consist of:

-An accurate assessment of your current situation, to include whether there may be a behavioral health issue in the mix

-A concrete plan of action based on the assessment and properly fitted into a time-tested, 3-stage model of change

-Ongoing insight, support and guidance to assure a successful outcome

Whether it be Coaching, Guiding or Mentoring services, over the last 4o+ years I have guided hundreds of people through the process of:

-Relinquishing old and no longer useful attitudes and behaviors

-Suffering the confusion, loss of focus and direction that often occur in the middle ground between old and new, and

-Transitioning into a more meaningful and successful identity

We do not get through this life without a major challenge or two along the way that tests who we are – or at least who we think we are – and what we’re made of.
It is when we encounter one of these challenges, e.g., divorce, loss of a loved one, a cherished job, or any number of challenges related to the stage of life we are in, that we need someone who has been through the same situation, who knows the territory and has the experience to guide us safely and successfully through.
