Village Barns

Voted as the “Best Barn and Shed Dealer” in Baldwin County and the Milledgeville, Georgia area, Village Barns is owned and operated by Pete and Joni. Pete is a native from Missouri and a retired sheriff. Joni is a native Texan and a retired Air Force Colonel. Together, they started Village Barns, with three acres of quality barns, cabins, sheds, chicken coops, dog kennels, gazebos, screened rooms and greenhouses.
The concept of Village Barns was born when Joni bought her third Derksen barn and first Overholt Enterprises, LLC greenhouse. While the buildings were being delivered, she decided that if she was going to continue to buy buildings, she might as well become a dealer. Located right on Highway 22, west of Milledgeville, their property was perfectly suited to house a whole village of portable buildings.
Having bought her first barn in 2000, she knew that Derksen made a first class barn. Joni and Pete met with the Derksen Georgia dealer and they were completely impressed with Ric and the Derksen Portable Buildings business.
Joni and Pete became Derksen dealers in 2012. Later that year, Village Barns expanded its product line to include the Overholt Enterprises LLC greenhouses, chicken coops, gazebos, dog kennels, green houses and screened rooms.
Pete and Joni are totally involved with the customers from the first visit, until the portable building is delivered.
