I recently bought a truck from Point Loma Pre-Owned on 1/22/2016. I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. I had been shopping around for a month or so and I have extremely bad credit and really needed to get myself into a full size truck. I was still paying on a loan for another truck from a bigger much better reviewed used car lot. Not only was I treated with respect by all of the staff present, I wasn't made to feel like a burden for the work they had to do to get me into the truck I wanted, but they gave me honest, straight forward answers to all of my questions on whichever vehicle I had questions on. If there were issues, they knew about the told me, if they had to perform any kind repairs they told me what they were without hesitation. From the first the first introduction until the present time I haven't felt at all like I was dealing with sleazy used car salesmen trying to pawn off a p.o.s. for full msrp. Not only were they able to get me financed for my tuck, pay off my negative equity loan on my trade in, get me a very respectable interest rate with monthly payments that are less than I had said I was comfortable with, they gave me an absolutely amazing price on my truck. Lets all be realistic, they are providing a service as a seller/broker they are not mechanical fortune tellers. They do not claim to have A.S.E. certified master ford techs do 136 point safety inspections on all Ford cars and tucks that they put out in the lot. The have a private in house mechanic that is going through and doing the blatant, in your face problems on an extremely broad variety of cars. Things like starters going bad, clutch failure, blown head gaskets and many other things cant ever be predicted, not by the manufacturer and not by the factory trained line tech at the dealer. You're purchasing a "used " vehicle and they're honest about them regardless of the mileage or the year or anything else and by honest I mean they don't have the engine and under carriage steam cleaned so 125000 mile engine looks like someone put in a brand new crate motor, so you can see were problems might be starting or be present! I have been put into a vehicle by a car lot that was extremely dangerous, that had massive issues they tried to hide and put me off on the repairs when I called them out on the band aids they put over knife wounds and when I finally almost ended up in oncoming traffic from suspension/steering problems they let me drive away with and lied to my face about! There are a couple of small request that I have made on my purchase, when I drove back on the lot this past Friday afternoon not only was greeted with smiles and handshakes and a plate of food, which was totally cool, but Sam took immediate action to get things handled without any argument or hassle, and didn't treat me like an inconvenience in the least bit.I don't believe any of these quarks with the truck were known about and not addressed to make a couple hundred dollars extra on a sale. Thank you Point Loma Pre-Owned a thousand times over and a thousand times again for making miracles happen for me and doing it with a smile on your faces, I will continue to purchase my vehicles and send my family and friends to Point Loma Pre-Owned for many years to come, not only for the amazing deals on bad ass rides,but also the outstanding service and integrity of these guys!!! Just to be completely, clear when I say made miracles happen, my credit was in the 300's and my Chevy 2500hd ltz is exceptional!!!!

I wasn't looking for a new car, but unfortunately I was hit by another driver and it totaled my car. I did a lot of homework online, narrowing down what type of car I wanted and reading used car ratings before I spotted a car at Mission Auto Sales in Oceanside, CA. The salesmen and owner were friendly, knowledgeable and service oriented. My choice came with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report, which was important to me. I test drove my car and had it taken to my mechanic of 20 years, for an evaluation. It passed with flying colors, so I purchased my Cadillac, CTS, a car I had always admired but never thought I could afford! I love my car! It is in such spectacular condition that everyone thinks it's new. I highly recommend doing business with the guys at Mission Auto Sales. It made a daunting task, a great experience.
